Naomi May Folker slipped her earthly bonds on 27 May, 1996.

Born Sept. 7, 1917, in Osawatomie, Miami County, Kansas, the second child, second daughter of five children born to William H. and Katherine E. Carkhuff-Gregg. She married Jarold Clarence McArthur, May 15, 1937 in Huntington Park, Calif. They were later divorced. She married John Richard Conley, November 6, 1939, in Yuma, Arizona; they were later divorced. She married John Alfred (Jack) Folker February 4, 1952 in Elko, Nevada.

She is survived by her five children, Ronald W. Conley, Salt Lake City; Jonna M. (David) Johnson, Morgan, Utah; Jean L. Bills, Salt Lake City; Mary K. (L. Demain) White, Hemet, Calif.; Judy G. Penwell, Salt Lake City; brother, Delbert E. Gregg, St. George; sister, Juanita (Ann) Maddux, Cerritos, Calif.; a very special niece, Carol Joy, Everette, Wash.; stepson, Jim Folker; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister, Veda Joy, brother, W.H. Gregg, Jr.

Text:   Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Hewitt ''Chalk'' A. Whiting, age 75, passed away August 7, 1992.

Born March 23, 1917 in Marysville, Utah to Daniel Lester and LeNora Wight. Married Eloise Folker August 1, 1942 in Abilene, Texas; solemnized May 18, 1949 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. High Priest in the LDS Church, Murraydale Ward. He loved hunting, fishing, the outdoors, gardening, and woodworking, and was a World War II veteran.

He is survived by his wife; children, H. Max (Susan), Dale A. (Sylvia), Janene (Michael) Clyde, Ron D. (Sherrill), Nancy Whiting (Jackie), Louise (Mel) Jackson, and Troy K. (Teressa), 24 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, one brother, Carl, three sisters, Irene Nickle, Mary Oleen, and Etta Mecham. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Ray, Wayne, and Paul; and sister, Ellen Mounteer.
